Dissemination is the targeted distribution of information and intervention materials to a target clinical practice or public health audience. A Nurse scholar can disseminate their evidence-based work to enhance clinical practice by publishing the information on the organization’s website. Publishing on a website is a highly cost-effective dissemination channel for the nurse scholar and the organization (Ross-Hellauer et al., 2020). Besides, it ensures that access to the data is fast and simultaneous for users. However, this dissemination strategy requires an organization to have a well-built website that is easily accessible and has an easy user interface design.

When disseminating information through an organization’s website, one of the best practices is to disseminate positive, inconclusive, and negative findings. This is vital to maximize the social value of the EBP project or research and to accurately inform medical policies and practices (Ross-Hellauer et al., 2020). Another best practice is to provide statistical data in a well-accepted format that can be used to import data into software packages the user uses (Ross-Hellauer et al., 2020). This is because disseminating statistics via the Internet using websites requires standardization of the transmission of statistical data.
